ED Vehicle application
The Vehicle application is an electrical design application for the vehicles and the other moving equipment. In addition to the normal electrical diagrams, the vehicle application supports the design of the wire bundles which are typical to the vehicles.
All the diagram functions of the basic application are available in the Vehicle application. For instance device and wiring databases can be collected from the diagrams on the basis of the device and wire labels. Device and wiring lists can be produced from the these databases etc. Wire bundle drawings are made by using the wiring database. After wire bundle drawings are made, the wiring database can be used for instance to produce list of wires in a connection order to make actual wire bundles.
The wire bundle function can be used to secure the compatibility of the wire bundles with the electrical diagram, to automate the addition of the wiring information to the wire bundle drawings and to return the location and the length information from wire bundle drawing to the wiring database.
