ED Instrumentation application
Instrumentation application is an application to produce instrumentation diagrams and to control design databases of instrumentation. Diagrams are produced by supplementing diagram templates based on the resources reserved from the database. Application secures that reserved resources are used only once.
Application includes following databases among others:
- IO cards and IO channels
- Power units
- Air units
- Connector strips of cross connections, connection cases and
field cases
- Cables and cable wiring
All the necessary documents in a list-type form can be obtained from databases. A wiring table from which wiring can be followed up to the field devices is produced by combining the cabling information with the diagram connection information.
The diagrams that have been produced with the application are revised so that at the same time when for instance the design of the new part of the plant is in progress, the user of the Viewing application can only browse documents from the archives which are in accordance with the current situation of the plant.
